Chabot College Television (CCTV) is a state-of-the-art media production facility serving the East Bay community, including Castro Valley, Hayward, and Fremont. Designed for both education and real-world content creation, the studio features a wall-sized 4K virtual production screen and a fully digital control room capable of handling multiple video sources and live streaming across today’s leading platforms.
What sets Chabot College TV apart is its advanced, AI-powered master control system operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring continuous content distribution and seamless broadcasting. This innovative setup provides students and community members with hands-on experience using industry-level equipment and workflows.
Led by Sujoy Sarkar, the studio is open at no cost to Chabot College students and residents of Castro Valley, Hayward, and Fremont. Individuals outside these areas may also access the facility for a minimal fee, making it an accessible resource for creators, businesses, and aspiring media professionals.
Programming produced at Chabot College TV is distributed across Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, and on-demand platforms, as well as local cable channels including Comcast and AT&T (channels 27, 28, and 29 depending on location).
